" Effective health outcomes do not come solely from policymaking but also from individual action. I am passionate about financial literacy as it extends beyond individual economic freedom. I see it as a gateway to building resilient communities worldwide. It is a key facet influencing access to healthcare and quality of life across many communities, yet it remains scarce in many places. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Master Your Cents

Globally, only a small margin of 27% of adults are considered financially literate. This poses great ramifications for overall well-being, where many individuals struggle to access adequate healthcare and basic survival resources as a result.
Mastering Your Cents (MYC) is an independent-led initiative by Millennium Fellow Thanakorn Lerskiatiphanich. The project aims to address the root cause of low financial literacy levels by enabling workshops and curated materials targeted towards educational institutions. During the fellowship period, MYC aims to partner with at least two academic institutions to conduct workshops. Workshops consist of open-mic presentations and simulated case problems to mimic real-life scenarios.
