" I am really passionate about public health and I want to do something about the big challenges our community is facing like poverty, abuse, addiction , stigma and many other . It's not enough to just know about these issues . I want to take action and make a real difference. Being part of the Millennium Fellowship would be an amazing opportunity for me , as it would give me the platform, mentorship , and collaboration I need to turn my ideas into real solutions that help people understand these issues better , reduce the stigma around them , and inspire other to take actions too. My goal is to make a positive impact and help build a community that's healthier and more informed. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: The SDGs Force: From Ideas To Impact

The SDG Force: From Ideas to Impact is a multi-phase community initiative designed to transform innovative ideas into meaningful action. The project focused on key Sustainable Development Goals—primarily SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-Being) and SDG 5 (Gender Equality). In the first phase, we collaborated with the Federal Directorate of Immunization to promote the national HPV vaccination campaign. The second phase addressed maternal and child health by raising awareness about antenatal care, safe delivery, and early childhood well-being. In the third phase, we worked on improving child nutrition through education on healthy feeding practices and growth monitoring. In the final phase, we aim to promote child protection awareness, focusing on safety, rights, and prevention of abuse. Together, these phases reflect our commitment to improving community health, empowering women and children, and contributing to long-term sustainable development.
