" "Through my project Sustainable Agriculture and Nutritious Food, I aim to empower rural communities with healthier diets and eco-friendly farming practices. The Millennium Fellowship will strengthen my ability to create lasting impact, connect with global change makers, and align my work with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. I am excited to gain the skills, collaboration, and vision to turn this initiative into a sustainable solution for farmers and future generations. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Sustainable Agriculture and Nutritious Food

I've decided to run a project “Sustainable Agriculture and Nutritious Food” which aims to create awareness about healthy foods and sustainable agriculture among the people of Bansherhat area of Dinajpur. I will work with the Hajee Mohammad Danesh High School students and their guardians. Most of whom are involved in agriculture. The students will learn about locally produced and easily available nutritious food such as eggs, pulses, vegetables, bananas and small fish and understand their nutritional value of food. I will also teach them how to meet balance food needs easily, along with cooking and preservation techniques. In addition, I will organize a separate session for the parents who are involved in agriculture where I will discuss environment-friendly, affordable and sustainable agricultural methods that ensure their food and social security. The ‘HSTU Mozhar School’ volunteer platform will support the implementation of this project.
