The Millennium Fellowship offers me the opportunities to amplify that voice, connect with other change makers and create a lasting impact in my community. I am excited to gain practical experiences that helps in amplifying my platform, alongside pairs equally committed to building a safer and more just world. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Safe Haven

SafeHaven aims to provide a supportive environmentfor survivors of rape and abuse, offering resources, counselling and advocacy to help them heal and reclaim their lives. Safe Haven Initiative focused on creating awareness about sexual assault and harassment among young people by teaching them how to recognise inappropriate behaviour, set boundaries and speak up when they feel unsafe. It also focused on adults by teaching them the importance of speaking their trauma out so they can heal.
