ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2025

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 60,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2025 on 7,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 290+ campuses worldwide (less than 5%) were selected to host the 4,500+ Millennium Fellows.

" I am excited to be a Millennium Fellow because the inspiration to enhance Academic Excellence among Girls whilst reducing Gender Inequality in relation to reduced Inequality for being Deaf Students would not have been a workable project if I had not heard of Millennium Fellowship's stance on the Structural Development Goals that needs to be achieved by 2030 and UNAI's. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: EmpowerHer Project

EmpowerHer is a Project aimed to Reduced Inequality among the Deaf students in three Deaf schools here in Ibadan, while also Promoting Quality Education and Gender Equality.
Original focus was the Female students in the area of Menstrual Hygiene and Gender Equality where Pads and Soap were shared and a Pad bank created for the Senior Secondary School Females of the Three Schools but the Academic Excellence session where a book corner with donated Textbooks was set up just for Senior Secondary School Three Male and Female.

About the Millennium Fellow

Faith Lakanmi Anjolaoluwa is a 100 level student of Political Science at the University of Ibadan. An advocate of SDG 4; Quality Education, SDG 10; Reduced Inequality, SDG 5; Gender Equality and SDG 6; Clean water and Sanitation.
She is a Teacher, a Public Speaker and an Inspiration to the Younger Generation.
She writes on, talk about and analyse Political and Social issues occuring in her country on Social media or Public space.
She has the ambition of becoming a Global name in the field of Social Impact.
