Millennium Fellowship Project: LUMINA THRIVE INITIATIVE
LUMINA Thrive initiative is a student led campus initiative that enlighten and empower the populace about mental health,disorders and potential health hazards lack of enlightenment. We enlightened a total of 200 students in three schools in the last couple of months. We organized virtual events for university students and got over 200 attendees
About the Millennium Fellow
Makinde Mayokun is a pharmacy student at the University of Ibadan and an advocate for mental health awareness, with a particular interest in developing innovative approaches to anxiety care. As the class representative of over 100 students and a mentor to aspiring pharmacy scholars, she actively fosters supportive academic and social environments. Through research training from leading institutions, she seeks to integrate scientific innovation with compassionate care. Her Millennium Fellowship project focuses on mental health advocacy and sustainable community solutions, aligning with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.
