United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 60,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2025 on 7,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 290+ campuses worldwide (less than 5%) were selected to host the 4,500+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Transforming the Future of Healthcare using Technology

This webinar program exposed University of Ibadan students, aged 18–25, to the transformative role of technology in healthcare. Participants learned how to intentionally leverage technological tools and innovations from their academic years to prepare for future opportunities in the healthcare sector. A total of 50 students gained insights on integrating technology into their learning and career paths, understanding its potential to improve healthcare delivery, innovation, and efficiency, and positioning themselves as future-ready professionals.

About the Millennium Fellow

Mary Oluwatosin Aseweje is a bright-eyed and visionary fourth year student of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Ibadan. She is passionate about intentional excellence, influence, impact and being a source of inspiration to others. A natural servant leader, Mary takes up service roles where ever she finds herself, and pours herself out selflessly to see needs met and systems improved. Mary hopes for the best and believes the best about her capabilities to drive positive change through social impact and guided mentorship.
