" I have always been passionate about advancing the Sustainable Development Goals and contributing to a more just, healthy, and inclusive world. The Millennium Fellowship excites me because it offers the chance to collaborate with like-minded peers, strengthen my leadership, and transform my ideas into impactful action. I also see it as a stepping stone to deepen my understanding of the SDGs by learning from mentors, while gaining the experience needed to drive sustainable change in my community and beyond. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Her Period, Her Power

“Her Period, Her Power” is a menstrual health awareness initiative focused on educating young girls about menstrual hygiene, building their confidence, and breaking the stigma surrounding periods. The project also aims to help end period poverty by providing free sanitary pads to girls who cannot afford them. Through education and pad distribution, the project supports girls in managing their periods with dignity and staying consistent in school.
