" I'm excited to be a Millennium Fellow because it connects me with like-minded change makers and gives me the tools to scale my passion for social impact into lasting community change. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Capacity Building
This project empowers young people, particularly women, by providing practical entrepreneurial skills to foster financial independence and promote sustainable development. Outreach sessions were conducted in secondary schools, where students learned how skills like catering create income opportunities and contribute to the SDGs. Interactive discussions identified interested female students, whose contacts were collected for ongoing follow-up via WhatsApp, providing guidance and support to help them develop their entrepreneurial skills and pursue economic opportunities in their communities.
