Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Books2Skills
My Project was created to bridge the gap between Education and Entrepreneurship for young students between the ages of 12-18 in secondary school, by giving them skill like Graphic Design, Web Development and Photography.
My Project has trained over 300 students in 2 schools so far, with hope to equip more 300 by Dec 1-5 according to schedule.
About the Millennium Fellow
Oluwagbemiga Opeyemi Gracious is an Alumnus of Lagos Business School, A Global Changemaker Ambassador, and a Youth Development Nonprofit Founder.
He is the Co-founder of Young Mind Empowerment Initiative, where he bridges the gap between Education and Future-Proof Skills for Teens in Underserved Communities.
He has trained over 10,000 Youth in relevant skills such as Project Management, Photography, Web development, Graphic Design, CV writing, and more, equipping them for the future of work.
In recognition of his work, Gracious is a Global Ambassador for - Global Changemaker, Theirworld, YIL, UN SDSN, Millennium Fellowship …and continues to lead conversations on digital divide and youth empowerment.
He also mentors young leaders and has collaborated with Educational institutions, government agencies, and fellow NGOs.
Gracious studies Psychology, and he believes that African growth and transformation lie in the hands of young people who dare to dream and take action.
He is open to Partnership and collaborations that promotes Youth-led innovation, community impact, and skill-based education.
