" My excitement for the Millennium Fellowship is fueled by a drive to amplify impact through strategic leadership and community engagement. Having coordinated teams for initiatives like INNOTECH, I've seen firsthand how collaborative efforts can create meaningful change. I'm eager to leverage the Fellowship's platform to enhance my leadership skills and work with peers to make a tangible difference in my community, aligning our efforts with the principles of the SDGs. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Digital Literacy for Youth

The project, Digital Literacy for Youths, focused on empowering University of Ibadan students with practical graphics design skills, primarily targeting first-year students. Over the semester, we organized a training session introducing beginner-friendly design tools, basic layout principles, and practical steps for creating digital content. A few motivated students from 300L and 400L also joined, adding diverse perspectives to the learning experience.
Following the workshop, we maintained an online learning group where participants continued to access tutorials, ask questions, and practice independently. While some planned sessions on web development and soft skills could not be held, the initiative successfully sparked curiosity, built confidence, and provided participants with a foundational digital skillset to explore further learning opportunities.
