" My passion for psychology and mental health advocacy is rooted in a vision of building systems that truly support human growth and well-being. The Millennium Fellowship excites me because it offers a platform to collaborate, learn, and refine the skills needed to turn this vision into sustainable impact. I am eager to explore new ways of integrating psychology, technology, and leadership to create meaningful change in schools, communities, and beyond.” "

Millennium Fellowship Project: The MindSpace Project

The MindSpace Project is one aimed at creating a mentally safe and aware campus. Working with two other fellows from my campus, we have curated a series of events that are designed to help people manage stress and improve their mental health. One of the programs we intend to implement is a peer counselling program, where we will gather professionals and connect them with University of Ibadan students who require counselling. We also plan to paste banners and flyers with mental health tips across the platform. Our main event is one where we plan to use a comforting and conducive environment to improve the knowledge of students on campus on mental health matters.
