Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Metatox
Metatox is a health awareness project focused on educating students and residents of the University of Ibadan about everyday toxins, especially common endocrine disruptors, that quietly harm long-term health. Through workshops, campus outreach, and simple practical guides, the project helps people learn where these toxins are found, how they affect the body, and easy lifestyle changes that can reduce exposure. The goal is to empower the community with knowledge that supports healthier decisions, stronger immunity, and better overall well-being.
About the Millennium Fellow
Wallace is a 3rd year buichemistry student with insatiable scientific curiosity. He aims to use this unique attribute and several others to drive meaningful change and social impact. He is intending to kick-start a project educating people in his community about daily toxins people are exposed to and how to minimise exposure by wiser decisions.
