" My dedication to developing significant solutions using design and technology is motivated by my enthusiasm for gender equality and women's safety. I can't wait to work with other like-minded change makers as a Millennium Fellow and acquire the knowledge and viewpoints that will help me increase my social influence. With this chance, I will be able to better link my projects with the SDGs and UNAI ideals, putting my vision for a safer, more just future into reality. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Synapse - Indian Sign Language Translator

This project focuses on developing a Sign Language Recognition Tool that improves communication between Deaf/Hard-of-Hearing individuals and the hearing community. Using computer vision and machine learning, the prototype translates hand gestures into meaningful text or voice output. The goal is to make communication easier, support inclusion, and improve access to information, education, and basic services for people who use sign language.
