UNITED NATIONS ACADEMIC IMPACT AND MCN PROUDLY PRESENT HIYA TREHAN, A MILLENNIUM FELLOW AND CAMPUS DIRECTOR FOR THE CLASS OF 2025.
Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women | New Delhi, India | Advancing SDG 3 & UNAI 9

" I'm excited to be a Millennium Fellow because it connects me with a global community of young leaders who share the same passion for change. It proves that when we bring our energy together, we can create a much bigger impact than any one of us could alone. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: AirAware
We are building an evidence-based AI Health Assistant designed to outperform generic chatbots by prioritizing accuracy and verification. Unlike standard AI that relies on general training data, our system uses Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to consult a trusted database of scientific papers and clinical guidelines before answering. It generates hyper-personalized, actionable nutrition plans that are strictly grounded in research. Key features include direct citations for every claim, redirects to source papers, and the ability to recommend specific study materials, ensuring users receive advice that is not only personalized but scientifically verified and hallucination-free.
