Millennium Fellowship Project: Udaan

It is a community-driven educational initiative founded with the vision of making quality learning accessible to underprivileged children. Every Saturday and Sunday, our team of passionate volunteers — primarily students from local colleges — visits the Pehchaud Street School, where we conduct interactive teaching sessions for children of daily wage laborers.
The Pehchaud Street School provides the space and resources, while Orahan brings a structured approach to learning through creative teaching methods, mentorship, and engagement activities. Our volunteers focus on building foundational literacy, numeracy, and curiosity through play-based and experiential learning.
Impact Highlights:
Conducting weekly learning sessions at Pehchaud Street School since [month/year].
Building a volunteer network of college students dedicated to community education.
Helping children develop academic confidence and interest in continued learning.
Mission:
To bridge the educational gap for underprivileged children by connecting youth volunteers with grassroots learning initiatives, nurturing empathy, leadership, and lifelong learning.
