" "The major difference between empathy and kindness is action. It’s about knowing that understanding problems alone isn't enough - solutions require doing. The Millennium Fellowship excites me because it's where visionary thinkers turn into practical problem-solvers - exactly the transformation I've been aiming for since my first community initiative." "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Sahaay

It is a student-led initiative wherein we are forming self-help groups and holding sessions for students going through various mental health issues, such as anxiety and depression. Students preparing for competitive exams often end up with unbearable isolation and extreme stress, and they end up doing suicide. We work towards preventing such suicides and making a safe space for students to discuss their problems and come up with solutions together. We also work towards breaking the stigma that only conventional career paths can make you successful, hence raising awareness among parents and society in general to not force their kids into choosing a career they are not interested in.
