" My work is driven by a belief that technology, when guided by empathy, can change lives. As a Millennium Fellow, I'm excited to learn, share, and grow with people who care about making a real difference. This journey will help me create AI-driven solutions for farmers that truly improve lives and support the Sustainable Development Goals. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Technology-Driven Solutions for Sustainable Farming
Our project focused on improving soil health and encouraging sustainable farming practices by using data-driven and technology-enabled approaches. The aim was to help farmers make better decisions around soil management, crop planning, and the use of agricultural inputs, so that productivity could improve without harming the environment. The work was grounded in research and designed to be practical for real farming conditions.
My role involved research, planning, and coordination with different stakeholders to ensure the solutions were useful, affordable, and easy to adopt, especially for small and marginal farmers. Beyond technical development, the project emphasized long-term impact by promoting healthier soils and more resilient agricultural practices. Through this effort, the project contributed to broader goals such as food security, responsible resource use, and climate resilience.
