Millennium Fellowship Project: SafeConnect: Building Awareness Against Scams and Threats
SafeConnect: Building Awareness Against Scams and Threats is a social impact initiative aimed at educating communities about common scams, online threats, and safety risks. The project focuses on raising awareness through workshops, digital campaigns, and informational resources, helping individuals recognize and respond to potential scams effectively. By empowering people with practical knowledge and preventive strategies, SafeConnect works to reduce the prevalence of fraud and enhance personal and community safety.
About the Millennium Fellow
Sai Charan is a passionate and globally minded engineering student at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, pursuing a Dual Degree in Biotechnology department. He was born in Nizamabad, Telangana, and he is deeply committed to justice, women’s rights, gender equality, and advancing the UN Sustainable Development Goals. He organized free educational sessions in rural villages to teach advanced subjects. His work focuses on combining technology with social responsibility to address pressing challenges. With strong leadership abilities and excellent communication skills, Sai Charan aspires to actively engage with international communities and contribute to meaningful global change. Charan believes in the power of collaboration, education, and innovation to bring meaningful change, and he is dedicated to using the Fellowship as a platform to amplify positive impact locally and globally.
