" I believe the Millennium Fellowship will give me an opportunity to learn from those with a similar goal of trying to make this planet a better place to live for the people on it and generations to come. I am also super excited to see how people focus on giving back to their communities along with their careers or build a career around it. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Kalaa

This independent social initiative aims to empower South Indian artisans by celebrating and supporting their traditional art forms. Many of these artists struggle with declining recognition and unstable incomes, and the initiative seeks to change that. Its goal is to preserve indigenous culture, provide fair opportunities for artisans, and help young people reconnect with their artistic roots.
