" I'm excited to be a Millennium Fellow because it gives me the platform to translate my passion for education into concrete action. It also connects me with passionate change makers from around the world who are committed to a social impact. I chose 'Education for All' because I believe that knowledge is a fundamental right—not a privileged—and it holds the power to transform lives and communities. My project aligns with the United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI) principle of educational opportunity for all and supports Sustainable Development Goal 4: ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education and promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Education: The Seed for Growth
We know that Education is the potent source for change in the future. Education for All is a basic necessity even if a person is rich or poor, privileged or underprivileged, intellectual or borderline. PROJECT INFORMATION: The Project "Education: The Seed for Growth" is the one which aims to educate the underprivileged children and provide them quality education along with lessons on life skills and fun, vocational activities like puppet making, origami and drawing l etc. PROJECT AIMS TO SOLVE: The Project aims to solve the Inequality in Education and bring the underprivileged children in mainstream of education. The project also aims to bridge the gap between the bookish education and of the skills used in the life ahead of these children. VALUE IT CREATES: The Project creates a deeper value on the lives of these children, not only they will get educated but they will also become self reliant and start to create more educated people in their respective families. HOW WE'LL DO IT? I will organise the classes for these children every weekends. Plus, I'll collaborate with NGOs, and I'll host recreational and origami/drawing classes to reach to around 50 students per class, each month.
