United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 60,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2025 on 7,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 290+ campuses worldwide (less than 5%) were selected to host the 4,500+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Empower Education Initiative

The Empower Education Initiative is a community-focused program in Bangladesh aimed at improving access to quality learning for underserved students. The project establishes digital learning hubs, provides essential educational materials, and connects students with trained mentors to strengthen academic performance. By offering technology access, skill-development support, and personalized guidance, the initiative helps students gain confidence, develop future-ready abilities, and continue their education successfully.

About the Millennium Fellow

MD Ajmal Mahir is a dedicated student at Independent University, Bangladesh, studying governance and public administration. Based in Dhaka, he combines academic rigor with his role as a gym instructor, reflecting discipline and community spirit. Mahir is passionate about public service, data-driven leadership, and creative learning.
