Millennium Fellowship Project: NEER - Nurturing Earth's Essential Resources
WHAT IS PROJECT NEER ??
NEER- Nurturing Earth's Essential Resource It is a student led initiative aimed at addressing water conservation, waterborne diseases and lack of awareness around sustainable water use, especially in urban cities like Bengaluru. Despite receiving
significant rainfall, Bengaluru faces rapid groundwater depletion due to unchecked. Urbanization and the loss of traditional water recharge systems. At the same time, waterborne diseases like cholera and typhoid are rising because of poor water quality and Sanitation.
About the Millennium Fellow
Nitin Verma is pursuing BA Economics and Public Policy from (Jain Deemed to be University). He have good leadership abilities and also has a great in Public service and Social Impact, He worked at various NGOs strengthening his leadership and Management skills and also gaining his firsthand Experience. He is now looking forward to bring social change through Millennium Fellowship
