UNITED NATIONS ACADEMIC IMPACT AND MCN PROUDLY PRESENT MILTON CAMILO CHÁVEZ MENDOZA, A MILLENNIUM FELLOW FOR THE CLASS OF 2025.
Pontificia Universidad Javeriana | Bogotá, Colombia | Advancing SDG 16, SDG 17 & UNAI 8

" I will not settle for the world as it is; I am committed to disrupting, questioning, and transforming it so that it becomes more humane.
Being part of Millennium equips me with the tools to lead with an integrated, cross-cutting perspective. The skills I will acquire throughout the training will enable me to practice assertiveness anchored in empathy and guided by critical judgment.
Because when something challenges and unsettles us, it is a sign that it warrants change—one that responds to the needs of a society attuned to its contemporary historical context. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Tejiendo Paz
Tejiendo Paz (Weaving Peace) is an educational project that seeks to raise awareness about the different types of social conflicts that exist in Colombia. To achieve this goal, we will hold workshops, podcasts, discussions, and create a social media account. These activities will take place in the second half of 2025 and seek to reach the Javeriana University community through workshops and discussions, and Colombians through podcasts and social media presence. With this, we seek to contribute to UN SDGs 16 and 17.
About the Millennium Fellow
