" Passion and the need to serve my community led me to be here. I am quite honored to be a Millennium Fellow, as I will be learning on how to incorporate and hopefully achieve the United Nation Sustainable Development Goals . Not only at a societal level but even also at a personal level. I am deeply interested in proper nutrition and making it available to every single being, that should be the standard! "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Securing Sustainability Through Nourishing Meals

It is no lie that nutritive foods are mightily essential for the growth and development of our bodies. Food impacts our moods, efficiency and the way we relate to one another. It's not just fuel but an avenue to foster meaningful relations among people from different walks of life.It is really disheartening to witness people struggling to acquire one measly meal that does nothing for their body. Good food that fuels the soul, mind and body should be a right to every living being. In my campus community,a percentage of my colleagues go hungry for certain days at a time due to the lack of affordable food that is sanitary and nourishing. There's so much I can talk about food and the way it is of importance to me. No one should ever miss out on that. No one should ever have a bad relation to food just because of their economic status. For the growth of our future generations,we have to think about the present. I would love to implement a student food program, for food security in a community that I am a member of.
