Millennium Fellowship Project: Learning Spaces Initiative

The Learning Spaces Initiative is a community-driven project designed to improve the quality of education in underserved primary schools by creating safe, engaging, and conducive learning environments that support both academic growth and student well-being.
The project targets primary school pupils lacking access to clean and stimulating classrooms, teachers facing challenges due to limited resources, and school communities, including parents and local stakeholders, who benefit when students become more engaged and motivated.
During the preparation phase, a needs assessment was conducted at an underserved school to identify priority areas for intervention. Consultations with teachers and school leadership ensured alignment with urgent needs, while a detailed project proposal was drafted and potential partners and donors were approached for funding.
