" I see the Millennium Fellowship as a journey of impact — where passion meets purpose. It offers a space to learn, share, and co-create solutions with driven young leaders. I am excited to be a Millennium Fellow because it is a powerful platform to collaborate with passionate young change makers and turn bold ideas into lasting impact. I do this work because I believe every action, no matter how small, can create ripples of change that transform communities. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Grow Together Initiative

The Grow Together Initiative is a youth-led community project based at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) and part of the Millennium Fellowship Kenya Class of 2025. The project empowers young people to create social and environmental impact through mentorship, charity work, and sustainability activities.

Between August and November 2025, the team carried out several impactful initiatives, including a mentorship and pad drive in Kisii County, a charity outreach in partnership with Inspire You Organization, a tree-planting campaign during Mazingira Day, and a mental health awareness event at Uhuru Park.

Through these actions, the initiative promotes SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being), SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 13 (Climate Action), and SDG 15 (Life on Land) — inspiring youth and communities to lead with compassion, responsibility, and hope for a sustainable future.
