" I'm thrilled to be a Millennium Fellow because it’s more than just an opportunity: it’s a chance to learn, grow, and stand alongside others who believe in a better world. For me, this work is personal. No survivor of gender-based violence should ever have to face their pain alone. Every woman deserves safety, dignity, and the hope of a brighter tomorrow. That’s why I'm here: to turn that belief into action, one step at a time "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Empowering the Neglected Youth
I am working on a project to help the neglected and less privileged children in our society. When the community fails our children, I believe the community needs to step up. By educating and supporting the neglected children both emotionally and physically, we can increase their chances of becoming morally upright, independent adults. I also believe that by empowering them, we can reduce the chances that they will turn to petty crime, drugs, or substance abuse. By helping these children at an early stage before they become worse, we can ensure they get the support and tools they need to thrive. Also once our children have entered the prison system it would be harder to assist them. That's why I'm willing to work on this project to the best of my ability.
