" I am passionate about empowering young people to lead environmental action because I have seen firsthand the effects of climate change and poor waste management in my community. I believe that when youth are given the skills, resources, and mentorship they need, they can spark powerful change and build a greener, more sustainable future for all. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Eat 4 Environment

Eat4Environment is a youth-led sustainability initiative aimed at promoting environmentally responsible food choices and reducing food waste as a way to address climate change and support healthier communities. The project was inspired by the understanding that our daily food habits, what we eat, how it is produced, and how much we waste, have a direct impact on the environment.
Through education, engagement, and action, Eat4Environment mobilizes young people to adopt and advocate for sustainable diets. Activities include awareness campaigns, 30-day sustainable eating challenges, eco-meal exhibitions, and community dialogues on food security and climate resilience.
The project advances the global 3ZERO vision—Zero Poverty, Zero Exclusion, and Zero Carbon; by empowering youth to lead climate-smart lifestyle changes, influence their peers, and inspire communities to build a sustainable and inclusive future where food systems are both just and planet-friendly.
