" Working for society makes me feel happier and more relaxed. I am excited to be a Millennium Fellow because this platform gives me an opportunity to work for society and develop new skills that will help me in addressing social issues at the highest level. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Tariq-ul -NaJat (Way to Salvation)

Tariq al-Najat (The Way to Salvation)
My project Tariq al-Najat aims to support people who are affected by drug addiction by guiding them towards self-reflection and helping them distance themselves from harmful habits. I want to give them a hopeful and transformative path so they can recover and re-enter society as good and responsible members. My project is based on the principle that “every soul deserves salvation."
Through this initiative, I will try to break the connection between drug users and drug suppliers by appealing directly to the inner consciousness of individuals. I will also create awareness among people, especially students, about the serious consequences of drug addiction. Along with this, I will give strong and valuable reasons, including religious justifications, to show that drug abuse is not only a personal issue but also a major sin that harms families, society, and the nation.
I will collaborate with NGOs and government administration to work towards the rehabilitation and recovery of affected people. By working with government authorities, we will also try to identify and eliminate the sources of drugs and promote a safer and healthier community.
