Millennium Fellowship Project: SPEAK UP, YOU'RE NOT ALONE
My project is about making people aware about sexual harassment on boys as well as girls. Boys also face this, but we have set a perspective in our society that only girls are sexually harassed, which is true in maximum cases but boys also face this but no one talks about it. when we support girls they talk about it but boys are not able to discuss this issue because they are often considered emotionless and strong, so they try to maintain that reputation but deep down they are suffering. I want to make people aware about this. This is a serious topic many people take it as a joke and make fun of it, I just want to change their perspective.
About the Millennium Fellow
Sabha Yousuf is a bright, young and a passionate law student at the University of Kashmir who wants to provide help to the needy and raise her voice against injustice. She was born and raised in Srinagar, Kashmir of India and is currently studying there. For as long as she could remember, Sabha has always tried to help the people in need and has always been passionate about her career in law and addressing women's rights. To fight for women's rights and help the poor are one of the few reasons she wanted to pursue law as a career. Throughout her high school years and currently in her college years she tries best to show her interests for women's empowerment and a reach for social justice, and she wants to write about them and she plans to continue in the future. She wants to be a person who is always kind to others and does something great to help people. Sabha aspires to be in a professional field where she can pursue these advocacies further, and provide her own contribution to the United Nations' Sustainable Goals.
