" I believe education is the most powerful equaliser. Through EduLift, I want to create opportunities for those who have been left behind. Being a Millennium Fellow excites me because it connects me with change makers who share the same vision of building a more inclusive and educated world. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Project EduLift
This project aims to uplift the community through education. It focuses on teaching basic literacy skills, such as reading and writing to eager learners from the underprivileged community through interactive sessions. By volunteering at NGOs and local schools, we aim to create a ripple effect, where each educated individual inspires others to read, learn and understand the world around them in a better way. We will also raise awareness about online education platforms, that allow those who cannot attend school due to financial or other responsibilities to study at any convenient time. Despite having a constitutional right to education, many people in India cannot read or write. This lack of education keeps them in the cycle of ignorance and exploitation. They're unable to improve their lives and living standards. We hope to create a community where education and the opportunities that come with it are accessible to everyone.
