Millennium Fellowship Project: Reducing the Wealth Gap
I want to start a project on reducing the wealth gap. This is a major social issue. The economic inequality has caused many social evils. I want to create awareness among people about how the current economic system is making rich more rich and poor more poor by drowning them into the debt-cycle. I want to share my ideas and knowledge to the people by collaborating with the people of same interest. I want to work as a team with other members to address this issue. I have not yet planned anything regarding this. But I have searched for some alternatives. The main cause of this wealth gap is interest-based economic system. I, with my teacher, has discussed some key issues. So I have gained a good knowledge about the alternatives for this economic system. And I hope the other members, who shares the same interest as me, could connect with me to work on this project.
About the Millennium Fellow
Uzaif Bashir is a student of Management Studies with a specialization in Finance and IT. He was born in Kashmir, India, and he is currently pursuing his studies at the University of Kashmir. Through numerous presentations and discussions, he has been successful in raising awareness about economic inequality and its impact on society. He has always been passionate about addressing this issue and is eager to collaborate with like-minded individuals. With a strong sense of purpose, Uzaif aspires to contribute meaningfully to humanity by working towards a more equitable future.
