Millennium Fellowship Project: ART and MENTAL HEALTH CONNECT

Art and Mental Health Connect is a university-based initiative that creates a safe space where art and mental health awareness intersect. Targeting students aged 18–25, the project uses art therapy to help youth develop healthy coping mechanisms, reduce substance abuse, and engage voluntarily in mental wellness activities. Participants express emotions through visual art, emotion wheels, adult coloring books, songs, poems, and spoken word, normalizing mental health conversations, celebrating emotional bravery, and fostering personal growth and creativity.
