United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 60,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2025 on 7,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 290+ campuses worldwide (less than 5%) were selected to host the 4,500+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Echoes of Self

The project is about Mental health with the title ECHOES OF SELF. its aim is to target young adults and adolescents because its an age group at risk of emotional and psychological crises, faced by self echoes hence the title because of the pressure they face at those age groups. The project is aimed at being a tool of advocacy to adolescents and youth on matters of mental health.

About the Millennium Fellow

Gerald Francis Ategeka is a student at KCMC University majoring in degree of Doctor of Medicine. He was born in Kilimanjaro,Tanzania.
Gerald has always been passionate with working good in teamwork but also involving himself in different community outreach with the purpose of broadening his understanding on several burning issues facing the community at large. Gerald still desires to engage himself with these community activities and for that reason he views this fellowship as an opportunity to cultivate and sharpen his skills and efforts.
