Millennium Fellowship Project: Echoes of Self
Echoes of Self: A Mental Health Project for Teenagers and Young Adults
"Echoes of Self" is a mental health project designed to help teenagers and young adults navigate the often turbulent waters of identity formation, self-discovery, and the unique mental health challenges they face. The title evokes the idea of exploring the various "voices" within themselves their thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and
experiences and understanding how these"echoes" shape their sense of self and overall well-being.
The primary target audience is individuals aged roughly 13-25. This age group experiences significant developmental changes, academic pressures, social anxieties, and the increasing influence of social media, all of which can impact
their mental health. "Echoes of Self" aims to empower teenagers and
young adults to understand their inner world, develop healthy coping mechanisms, build supportive connections, and ultimately foster a stronger sense of self and improved mental well-being. By acknowledging and exploring the various "echoes" within, young people can navigate their journey towards a more resilient and fulfilling life.
