Project Description:
The She Matters Health Project is a youth-led initiative dedicated to promoting menstrual health awareness, hygiene management and reproductive rights among young women and girls. The project aims to break the stigma surrounding menstruation by fostering open dialogue, providing accurate health information and ensuring access to safe and affordable menstrual products.
Through mentorship sessions, school and community outreaches and capacity building workshops, She Matters Health Project empowers girls with knowledge and confidence to manage their health with dignity. The project also engages community stakeholders, including parents, teachers and local leaders, to create supportive environments where menstrual and reproductive health are openly discussed and prioritized.
