Millennium Fellowship Project: Mangrove Restoration along the Kenyan Coast
Mangrove Restoration is all about regenerating mangroves along the Kenyan Coast.this project aims to work with community members and work with them hand in hand to grow these trees.The community members are taught about the various types of mangroves and where they thrive best.They also take part in the Mangrove tree planting.
About the Millennium Fellow
Pauline Muyodi is an Environmental Planning and Management student at Kenyatta University, passionate about community-led climate action, sustainability and environmental justice. With growing portfolio in GIS mapping,climate storytelling and youth advocacy, she's committed to amplifying voices in Africa’s environmental movement. Pauline has worked on spatial planning projects in Kenya and is particularly interested in how carbon markets can equitably benefit local communities.
