" "I am also enthusiastic to be a Millennium Fellow as it will help me transform my personal interest in community change into a long-standing practice. I am doing this work because I observe that what confronts young people particularly refugees is a challenge that hides an opportunity of innovation and empowerment, and lasting change". "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Empowering Young Refugee Through Education

This project empowers young refugees by providing access to quality education and guiding them in securing full university scholarships. Targeting high school graduates who wish to continue their studies, the initiative offers support throughout the scholarship application process. Activities include organizing boot camps, such as the one held at Mahama Refugee Camp, where participants, including members of Inzira Accelerator Foundation, received mentorship. So far, three students have successfully secured scholarship opportunities through the program.
