" "My motivation comes from the desire to help my fellow youth and ensure that future generations are cared for. Drug abuse has become a major challenge in my community, contributing to crime, school dropouts, and early pregnancies. This project is my way of addressing these issues. Being part of Millennium Fellowship will strengthen my initiative by giving me platform to educate young people, raise awareness and provide the right information to prevent drug abuse." "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Drug Abuse Awareness for Youth
This project was designed to sensitize the youths in the community on dangers of drug abuse and to equip them with practical knowledge and alternatives that promote positive growth. Though interactive sessions, open discussions, motivational talks and demonstrations the project aimed to educate youths on physical, psychological, social and economic effects of drug abuse.
