United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 60,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2025 on 7,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 290+ campuses worldwide (less than 5%) were selected to host the 4,500+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Good Samaritan Impact

Good Samaritan Impact is a community driven initiative dedicated to breaking the cycle of
poverty aligned with SDG 1: No Poverty.
Our focus is on empowering families with practical income generating skills and
support vulnerable children in accessing or continuing their education (SDG 4: Quality
Education) while also promoting healthier, more resilient communities (SDG 3: Good
Health and Well-being).

About the Millennium Fellow

Mwenenye Joseph Okumu is a medical student(MBBS) at Kampala International University with a deep commitment to advancing community well being and sustainable development. He believes that lasting change begins when people are empowered with the knowledge, skills, and resources to transform their own circumstances. As a Millennium Fellow, Joseph is dedicated to enhancing his leadership abilities, learning from global peers, and aligning his efforts with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals to create meaningful, lasting impact within his community and beyond
