" I believe creativity is a powerful tool for change. Through animation, design, film, photography, and web development, I aim to tell stories that inspire and impact communities. The Millennium Fellowship excites me because it offers the opportunity to grow these talents, collaborate with like-minded peers, and align my work with the Sustainable Development Goals to make a lasting difference. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: What Do You Know (Knowledge Sharing Platform)
What Do You Know (WDYK) is an independent project led by Millennium Fellow John Ephraim Aidoo at KNUST. WDYK is a knowledge-sharing platform that makes learning more accessible, engaging, and inclusive through blogs and digital media. By covering diverse areas such as fashion, lifestyle, news, sports, and technology, the project empowers young people to learn beyond the classroom, share their voices, and engage in meaningful discussions. This initiative directly supports the UN Sustainable Development Goals on Quality Education (SDG 4), Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure (SDG 9), and Reduced Inequalities (SDG 10).
Measurable Goals (August–December 2025):
1. Publish at least 50 blog posts across multiple categories, ensuring inclusivity of diverse perspectives.
2. Host 2 monthly online discussions/workshops to engage students and young creatives in knowledge exchange.
3. Reach at least 500 readers, focusing on youth and community members with limited access to diverse learning resources.
4. Collaborate with 5 peers or local organizations to co-create content and amplify community impact.
5. Create a framework for sustainability beyond 2025, so WDYK continues as a long-term platform for accessible education and dialogue.
