Millennium Fellowship Project: Overflow Ends With Us

The Smart Waste Bin Monitoring and Management System uses IoT sensors and digital tools to optimize waste collection and enhance cleanliness. The system provides real-time bin fill-level detection, automated alerts, data logging, and dashboard-based visualization. By integrating modern technology with community participation, it improves public health, reduces the need for manual monitoring, and encourages responsible waste disposal practices.

About the Millennium Fellow

Ajith Shajan is a B.Tech student passionate about leveraging technology for social impact. With interests in embedded systems, IoT, and robotics, Ajith has led projects ranging from a Landslide Victim Tracking System to interactive community engagement tools. As a hackathon winner and active member of technical clubs, he combines innovation with teamwork to address real-world challenges. Ajith aspires to create sustainable solutions that empower communities and foster inclusive growth through technology-driven initiatives.
