" I do not see service as an act , rather i like to see it as a responsibility . I believe technology and empathy together can solve real-world problems. As a Millennium Fellow, I'm excited to learn, collaborate, and amplify that vision on a global scale.I believe that everyday we should be able to do something so that we can give back something to the society , because our main goal has to be to live as "We " not "Me ". Being a Millennium Fellow , will deliver me the platform , to help people on a larger scale , and build more networks so that i can learn more , from people and their experiences . "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Overflow Ends With Us
Our project, "Overflow Ends with Us", aims to improve waste management in public spaces by introducing smart bins with sensors that detect when they are full and automatically notify the authorities for timely clearance. In addition, citizens will have the option to report issues such as overflowing bins, malfunctioning lids, or other concerns through a simple feedback system. To make waste disposal more convenient, the project will also include a feature that helps people locate the nearest available dustbin. Together, these measures will ensure cleaner surroundings, reduce overflow, and create a healthier community environment.
