" I've always wanted to work on something meaningful that creates real impact, but I never had the opportunity to be a part of something like this before. The Millennium Fellowship feels like the perfect platform to learn, collaborate with like-minded peers, and turn ideas into impactful projects. I'm excited to align my work with the SDGs, grow my skills, and contribute to sustainable solutions that can truly make a difference "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Overflow Ends With Us

Our project, "Overflow Ends with Us", aims to improve waste management in public spaces by introducing smart bins with sensors that detect when they are full and automatically notify the authorities for timely clearance. In addition, citizens will have the option to report issues such as overflowing bins, malfunctioning lids, or other concerns through a simple feedback system. To make waste disposal more convenient, the project will also include a feature that helps people locate the nearest available dustbin. Together, these measures will ensure cleaner surroundings, reduce overflow, and create a healthier community environment.
