" Being a Millennium Fellow is really cool because I get to learn, share ideas, and team up with people who are serious about changing things for the better. My work is based on a simple idea, when people work together, big problems can turn into chances to find hope and get stronger. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Overflow Ends With Us

Our project, "Overflow Ends with Us", aims to improve waste management in public spaces by introducing smart bins with sensors that detect when they are full and automatically notify the authorities for timely clearance. In addition, citizens will have the option to report issues such as overflowing bins, malfunctioning lids, or other concerns through a simple feedback system. To make waste disposal more convenient, the project will also include a feature that helps people locate the nearest available dustbin. Together, these measures will ensure cleaner surroundings, reduce overflow, and create a healthier community environment.
