" I believe the skills we learn are most valuable when we use them to help others. Growing up in both India and Saudi Arabia taught me to value empathy, resilience, and teamwork. The Millennium Fellowship is a chance for me to work with change makers from around the world, use my passion for technology and leadership to solve real problems, and support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. For me, it’s not just about making a difference, it’s about learning, building connections, and creating solutions that can bring lasting change "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Overflow Ends With Us
Our project, "Overflow Ends with Us", aims to improve waste management in public spaces by introducing smart bins with sensors that detect when they are full and automatically notify the authorities for timely clearance. In addition, citizens will have the option to report issues such as overflowing bins, malfunctioning lids, or other concerns through a simple feedback system. To make waste disposal more convenient, the project will also include a feature that helps people locate the nearest available dustbin. Together, these measures will ensure cleaner surroundings, reduce overflow, and create a healthier community environment.
