Millennium Fellowship Project: Rural Kansas Overdose Response Program
My Millennium Fellowship project focuses on increasing fentanyl awareness and expanding access to Narcan in rural Kansas communities. Through public education, community outreach events, and free distribution of Narcan, the project empowers residents with the knowledge and tools needed to prevent opioid-related deaths. By reducing stigma, promoting harm reduction, and equipping individuals to respond effectively in emergencies, this initiative supports healthier and safer communities across rural Kansas.
