" I am excited to be a Millennium Fellow because I feel this is where I will be able to collaborate with my peers. Through this I will be able to shape my skills in advocacy , communication and leadership. By interacting with like minded people, we will be able to come up with solutions to life challenges in relation to mental health. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Fostering a culture of Mental Wellness.
Fostering a Culture of Mental Health is an initiative aimed at improving mental health awareness and creating supportive spaces in the community. Many people struggle because of stigma, limited knowledge, or fear of speaking about their challenges. This project helps address these gaps by offering simple awareness sessions, open conversations, and peer-support activities that encourage people to understand mental health and seek help when needed. By promoting knowledge, reducing stigma, and encouraging supportive interactions, the initiative works to strengthen overall well-being and build a community where individuals feel safe, valued, and able to talk about their mental health.
