United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 60,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2025 on 7,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 290+ campuses worldwide (less than 5%) were selected to host the 4,500+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Digital Infrastructure for Sustainable Development

Digital Infrastructure i.e ICT system, providing digital capabilities such as storage and computational services, experiencing an ever-growing demand for data consumption, which is only expected to increase in the future. This trends leads to a question I keeping asking and need to be answered: How can we evolve the digital infrastructure to keep us with the increasing demand in a sustainable ways?
My Objective is to develop and deliver digital literacy training programs focusing on basic computer skills, digital resources, innovation and online safety. To create network of community based digital hubs providing access to skill development and monitoring. Also, to provide capability building program for educators, focusing on inclusive education and technology integration.
Aligning with SDG 9 (Industry, innovation and infrastructure) and UNAI principles. This project aim to bridge the digital divide, promote digital literacy and foster innovation and entrepreneurship in the communities.

About the Millennium Fellow

Ajitokewu Mutmohinu Kehinde is an undergraduate of Lagos State University, Ojo, studying Computer Science Education. A tech-driven innovator, he has held leadership roles including Assistant Senior Prefect (2017) and Science Lab Prefect (2020), and earned the Bronze Standard of the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award (2020). Kehinde has served as Cowrywise Campus Ambassador, LASU SDG Youth Ambassador, and Assistant General Secretary of MSSN-LASU. He is an Excel Minds Tutor/Executive, a top 500 candidate for IBILE Academy Training, and recipient of a Cloud/DevOps Engineer scholarship at Nexedge Technologies, with Nigerian-German dual IT qualification.
